Initial Intake Phone Consultation

This is used by me as a tech to understand the issue you are experiencing and gauge whether I would be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. This is required for all my services in order for me to provide the best tech support possible. If I don’t feel that I can competently solve your issue, I will try my best to refer you to an IT business whom personally I trust will be able to.

30 Minutes Maximum*

1-on-1 Remote Technical Support Service (Software)

This service includes general tech support where I provide remote phone / Skype 1-on-1 technical troubleshooting for Windows and Mac operating system (OS) and software (eg. Microsoft Office) issues.

 

Hourly Rate:

$20.00 USD

 

1-on-1 Onsite Technical Support Service (Software)

This service includes general tech support where I provide on-site (at your home or office) 1-on-1 technical troubleshooting for Windows and Mac operating system (OS) and software (eg. Microsoft Office) issues.

 

Hourly Rate:

$30.00 USD

 

1-On-1 IT Computer / Technical Lessons

The second service is IT Computer / Technical Lessons. This is where I will spent time teaching in detail a specific topic or technical skill of your choosing. I walk clients through how-to’s on a variety of topics at their own pace. This is similar to Apple’s One-to-One service. Feel free to take notes if you want! This service pairs well with my User Guide writing service where I write down detailed notes for you, including pictures of where/what to click!

$40.00 USD

 

Hardware Consulting & Installation Service

This service provides tech support for the hardware components inside of Windows & Mac desktop computers. I install PC parts, anything from memory sticks (RAM) to network cards to whole PC builds (motherboards, cables, graphics cards, etc). If you don’t know what part you require, I can advice on purchasing decisions made online (Amazon / Newegg) or in-store Frys / Best Buy. Parts MUST be purchased by customers (no exceptions) due to liability issues. 

Additionally, I can consult and set-up repairs for you through 3rd-party companies for Windows & Mac laptop repairs if parts cannot be purchased by clients. For example, if your Windows laptop is a Dell branded machine I can take care of the phone calls and call-center hassle to get a part dispatched and mailed to your home or business address for installation by either me or the Dell technician.

User Guide Writing Service

User Guide Writing Service
This third and final service goes well with the 1-on-1 Computer / Technical Lessons. A "User Guide" by my definition is a set of detailed instructions that include visuals (pictures) which instruct the user how to complete a technical or mechanical task in an easy to understand manner. 

A-La-Carte User Guides
• 1 Topic Per Guide
• Detailed (between 3-10 pages*), easy-to-follow instructions on a task of your choosing. 
• Includes annotated screenshots (pictures of your computer screen) with boxes and arrows describing where to click and what to type.
• Includes PDF copy sent to your preferred email address

 

*Page count may be higher depending on size of images and formatting of document.
